There’s no arguing that Tetra Brik package is a fantastic packaging. Since we’re reviewing only the closure/opening of packaging, in this video we’re looking at opening of this Tetra Brik packaging. The aluminum pull tab is very thin, and you need your index finger and thumb to open it. You can only use the very tip of those fingers since you have your finger tips in a constraint space of the reclosable cap. This limited space along with a short slippery pull tab, make this not an easy to open packaging. How this could easily be solved would be to just make the aluminum pull tab longer so your fingers have more surface to pull on.

This chewing gum package is not difficult to open, however, if the temperature is high and the gums are soft, you might have to squeeze them to open the aluminum wrapper.
This website has been a long lost idea. Today, I opened a pack of Trident chewing gum and I realized again that I needed to do this website project. This website is to show/share with the world the functionality of packaging focussing on the opening of the closure. Opening packages is a daily challenge. Some consumer products are hard to open without special aids. This website will try to uncover them. We will do this by posting videos of actual openings of packages from our own experience and hope to receive other peoples video/pictures experiences as well. Thank you!
